Borovets and the spa areas around.

As well as its close proximity to the city, this area is within very easy and quick access to several other points of interest:
Most notably Borovets - the oldest and one of the main ski resorts of Bulgaria. Borovets is less than a 30 min drive (20 miles). Super Borovets project is about to commence this year with many new lifts to be built and better infrastructure to be put in. This will convert the prettiest Bulgarian ski area into the main and biggest resort also benefiting from its quick access (approx. 1 hour, 40 miles) from the biggest Bulgarian airport - Sofia International airport.
Belchinski Bani and Separeva Banya are also less than 10 miles from the area and are well known for their healing thermal springs. In addition there are a number of ongoing projects for spa hotels and other facilities.
